Shelterline performed civil and horizontal construction work along the Benning Road corridor, supporting infrastructure improvements in the surrounding District neighborhood.
Work along an active public corridor required careful traffic control and coordination with utility providers to keep the roadway and surrounding businesses accessible throughout construction.
We implemented a phased traffic control plan, coordinated utility locates and tie-ins with District agencies, and sequenced horizontal construction to keep disruption to the corridor to a minimum.
The Benning Road corridor received civil and horizontal infrastructure improvements, delivered with minimal disruption to surrounding traffic and businesses.
