Shelterline converted an underused area of Newark Park into a new pickleball court, demolishing the existing site surface and building out a new wall and upgraded park amenities for community use.
Work took place within an active neighborhood park, requiring the site to stay safely fenced off from park visitors while grading and surfacing tolerances for competitive-level pickleball play were tightly held.
We staged demolition and construction behind secured fencing with clear pedestrian routing around the work zone, and used laser-guided grading to hit the flatness tolerances required for regulation court play.
Newark Park now has a new regulation pickleball court and upgraded park features, giving the surrounding community a modern recreational amenity.
